VICTORY LANE INDOOR KARTING ANNOUNCES the 2ND ANNUAL 24 Hours of Charlotte ENDURANCE RACE.

Start: 9:00am Saturday, May 23
End: 9:00am Sunday, May 24

The premier endurance karting event in North America returns to Charlotte, NC at Victory Lane Indoor Karting on May 23. Last year’s inaugural event was marked by a pass to win with less than 45 minutes remaining and finished with just 11 seconds separating the winning team from 2nd place.

This year Victory Lane Indoor Karting will show the competitors a few new twists and turns with a track expansion and the new generation Sodi RX-7 racing kart.

A top group of drivers from around North America have entered and this year we will also have our first all women’s team. Six accomplished women of racing from six areas of North America. They will compete against the elite in indoor karting including some of last year’s top ten from Belgium’s World Indoor Karting Championship. The ladies committed to race at this date include, Johanna Godinez (Puerto Rico), Chrissy Wallace (Concord NC), Laurie Osmond (Rock Hill, SC), Tiffany Daniels (Smithfield, VA), Chelsie Lehmann (Baltimore, MD), Jody Folice (Westport, CT).

Home Track Advantage will be minimized as all karts are identical and assigned randomly. Additionally, kart equality will be maximized as the teams will switch karts at each fuel stop.

We invite you to cover this event that coincides with speed weeks and the 600 in Charlotte and includes the first all women’s team in the 2nd 24 hour indoor karting event in North America.
